Istanbul
Arrival in Istanbul via TK85 at 05:05. Breakfast. Take a full day tour – visit Hagia Sophia, a great architectural beauty and an important monument during the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. On to the Blue Mosque, officially known as the Sultanahmet Mosque. The mosque’s striking blue tiles give it its more common name and make it as Istanbul’s iconic attractions. Visit Hippodrome, built in 203 AD by the Roman Emperor Septimus Severus. See the remains of three monuments – Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column and the Constantine Column. Also see the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, made from 8 marble columns. Visit the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered market in the world. Drive to your hotel for check in, dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Petra – Amman

After breakfast, tour Petra. Considered one of the world’s wonders. Walk through the Siq and see various temples, the Amphitheater, the Monastery and the Treasury. Drive to Amman for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Nazareth – Mt Carmel – Ceasarea – Jaffa – Jerusalem
After breakfast drive to Nazareth and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth erected over the grotto where according to tradition, the archangel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be the mother of Christ. Nearby, visit the Church of St. Joseph. Head towards Haifa through Carmel Mountains, We will stop at Muhraka, the site of sacrifice located on the spot where Elijah confronted the false priests of Ba’al. On to Caesarea to see the Roman Amphitheater and Crusader Fortress. Drive along the coast through Tel Aviv ending in the old port city of Jaffa. Here, visit St. Peter’s Church. Drive to Jerusalem for check in, dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Old City of Jerusalem – Western Wall – Gallicantu – Israel Museum
After breakfast, proceed to the old city of Jerusalem stopping first at the Church of St. Anne and the pool of Bethesda. Continue walking along the Via Dolorosa, also called the “Way of the Cross”. There are fourteen stations along the route each commemorating an event along Jesus’ route to crucifixion. End up at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. On to the holiest site of the Jewish nation, the Western Wall. Continue on to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the house of high priest Caiaphas. It is on this site that Peter denied Jesus three times. On to the Israel Museum to see the Second Temple Model and some of the Dead Sea scrolls stored and preserved in the museum. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Istanbul – Amman

Breakfast. Visit the Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Market as Egyptian exports were sold there during the Ottoman Period. Embark the Bosphorus Cruise Boat. A scenic journey along the Bosphorus between two continents, Asia and Europe. Visit the Topkapi Palace, located on a promontory overlooking the Golden Horn, it sits in tranquil gardens that provide shade from the blazing heat of summer. Visit the Museum and see the Iznik tiles and the ornate stateroom of the harem together with other attractions. Take an early dinner then transfer to the airport for departure flight via TK812 at 21:40. (B/L/D)

Amman – Allenby Bridge – Mt. Tabor – Jordan River – Tiberias

After breakfast we will visit Nazareth. Visit the Church of the Annunciation and St. Joseph’s workshop and the home of the Holy Family. We proceed to Mount Carmel in Haifa. Visit the Stella Maris Monastery and view the Bahai Gardens. Drive to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great and see the aqueduct. Dinner and overnight in your hotel. (B/L/D)

Mt. of Olives – Bethlehem
After breakfast we drive up the Mount of Olives stopping at the Church of the Ascension then the Church of Pater Noster where we will see different translations of the Lord’s Prayer. Walk along the Palm Sunday Road passing by the Franciscan Church of the Dominus Flevit, where the Lord wept and shed a tear for the city of Jerusalem. We continue on the Palm Sunday Road ending at the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. On to Bethlehem for mass. Then visit the Church of the Nativity built over the tomb of St. Geronimo. In the grotto under the altar, see the silver star which marks the place of Jesus’ birth. Next door to the Church of the Nativity is the Roman Catholic church of St. Catherine. It is in this church that Christmas midnight mass is celebrated and relayed throughout the world via satellite. Visit the Shepherd’s Field where angels appeared to the shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Mt. Zion – Jericho – Qumran – Dead Sea
After breakfast on to Mt. Zion to visit the room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb and the Church of Dormition, where the Blessed Virgin Mary fell into eternal sleep. Drive to Jericho, believed to be the oldest city. View the Mount of Temptation and an old Sycamore tree. Continue on to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Here you will get the chance to buy the famous Dead Sea products. Proceed to the Dead Sea which is also called “Sea of Salt” and is the lowest spot on the surface of the globe. Here you can experience floating and swimming in these waters which have amazing healing powers. Mass at the Notre Dame then drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Amman – Mt Nebo – Madaba – Sheikh Hussein Border – Nazareth

Early morning arrival in Amman. After immigration and customs formalities, drive to your hotel for check in and overnight. Breakfast then visit Mt. Nebo, the memorial of Moses and the presumed site of his death and burial place. On to Madaba (The City of Mosaic) to visit St. George’s Church which cradles the 5th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Drive to Petra and proceed to your hotel for check in, dinner and overnight. Cana – Sea of Galilee – Mt of Beatitudes – Capernaum – Tabgha
After breakfast, we start our day by visiting the Church of Nativity and Shepherd’s Field. Drive to the Mount of Olives and witness a breathtaking view of the city. Visit the Church of Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit then walk towards the Garden of Gethsemane to see the Church of All Nations. After, we drive to Mount Zion, to visit the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu. This Church commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ, Peter’s repentance, and Jesus’ forgiveness of Peter. In addition, we will also see the Last Supper Room, then we visit the nearby Benedictine Church of the Dormition. Tradition tells us that this Church is where Mary, the Mother of Jesus, “fell asleep”. At the end of this prayerful day, we return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)

Ein Karem – Tel Aviv
After breakfast visit Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist. A slow and uphill climb to the Church of the Visitation where Mary went to see her cousin Elizabeth who greeted the future mother of Jesus with the words “blessed art thou among women”. Mary responded with the “Magnificat”, a song of praise to the Lord. Drive to the airport for departure flight. (B/L)
